Yes! Yoga is about discipline, so please come to the class 5 minutes earlier i.e. 5:55 AM. While in the class, maintain silence and listen carefully to the teacher’s instructions.
What should I wear/bring?
Be prepared to do hard work and a lot of sweat. Wear light, non-restrictive clothing that’s comfortable to stretch in. Please also bring a mat, bottled water & a towel.
Can I eat before the class?
Come to the class with an empty stomach. You should not have food for atleast four hours before class. You can drink juice or eat fruits up to one hour before the class.
What if I am not flexible?
You don’t have to be flexible to start yoga. Yoga is about balancing the mind, body and soul. Flexibility is a natural outcome of this, not a pre-requisite.
Will I lose weight?
Yes. Yoga practitioners find their bodies becoming more trim and toned. It improves immunity of the body and overall health. A balanced diet should also play an important role.
