Introduction to VIDY.
A tumblr theme made for musicians, video bloggers, artists, and so forth. It’s good to showcase your work by way of movies & audios.
The HEADER
Header Image
- Upload your picture or use default tumblr header.
- Show/Hide the picture if you would like solely coloured background.
- Enable stretch header.
Navigation.
- Title – Change Font, Color, Weight, or use and Image as a Logo.
- Links – Change Color, Show/Hide Any of Them.
- Search – Change Color (Same because the Title).
Profile Information
- Name – Type your Name if You Want it to Appear, Change Color.
- Avatar – Upload it from the Edit Page if You Want it to Appear.
Featured SECTION (max three sections)
How it really works?
Go to the Theme Edit Page.
- Enable the Section on the choices.
- Set the Tag title you need.
- Type a Name for the Section.
- Go to the publish you wish to be Featured and add the Tag (mostliked).
Additional choice for the sections
If you wish to make the Section extra beautiful visually, simply sort on the publish that will probably be Featured the tag “featuredx2” and will probably be double dimension.
The CONTENT
Introduction
Use the title you need in your Blog part.
Posts
There are three sort of posts.
- Normal posts.
- Double posts.
- Full dimension posts.
How to make double/full sized posts?
Just sort the “_double_size” tag to make it double, or “_full_size” to make it full dimension.
Pagination
Use regular pagination with pages or use button to Load More.
The SOCIAL
You can set off your final Tweets & Instagram Shots.
How are you able to?
- Type your Twitter URL & Username on the Options.
- Enable the Feed.
- Go to your weblog settings (tumblr.com/settings/weblog/blogname).
- Attach your Twitter Account.
- Type your Instagram URL, ID & Access Token.
- Enable the Feed.
How are you able to get your Instagram ID and Access Token?

Additional choices for the Social Feeds
- Select what number of Tweets & Pics you wish to be displayed on the Feeds.
- Type the Title you need for every feed.

Categories
How it really works?
Type a reputation on the choices and there’ll mechanically be a hyperlink generated on the footer.
Example: If you sort “example”, the URL of the class hyperlink will probably be /tagged/instance
Social
Type the URL on the social hyperlink you need, and it’ll seem.
Additional choices for the Footer
- Show/Hide the entire Footer
- Show/Hide description, copyright, hyperlinks, classes or social hyperlinks
- Select Footer Style: Dark/gleaming
The POST PAGE
Photos & Photosets Style
Full Size Head Image (relying on what you publish).
enormous title (should make a title within the photograph/photoset caption).
Videos & Audios Style
The media will probably be full dimension. No title/navigation like on the photographs/photosets.
Texts, Quotes, Links & Chats Style
Full Size Head Image (the one you set for the profile).
enormous title.
Quote posts may have the quote centered on the picture, with a distinct model.
Link posts behind the title may have the ThumbNail from the URL web page.
Caption & Description
Behind the header, 780px broad.
- Tags – Choose customized shade
- Group Blog – Shows who made the publish (avatar + title)
- Share part – Twitter, Facebook, Google, Reblog, Like and Notecount.
- Custom Previous & Next Post part (exhibits the title of the earlier and subsequent posts).
- Disqus Comments – Type your Username to make it work
